Climate risk assessment tool

I developed Ekolab’s climate risk screening and assessment tool, ensuring compliance with the EU Taxonomy framework. The tool enables early-stage screening as well as dynamic updates throughout the lifecycle of a construction project. It is applicable to both new developments and existing buildings. The framework assesses physical climate risks including heatwaves, cold spells, extreme precipitation, flooding, and flash floods. It operates at municipal resolution, incorporating local conditions and adaptation measures to ensure context-specific analysis. By integrating climate risk assessment into early project decision-making, the tool strengthens resilience considerations within sustainable construction practice.
