Municipal sustainability strategy

I contributed to the development of Silkeborg Municipality’s cross-organizational sustainability strategy. Together, we created a structured “map and compass” framework outlining viable sustainability pathways and defining both baseline performance and future ambitions. The strategy applies across departments and scales, from operational decisions such as food services to large-scale construction and infrastructure projects. The framework clarifies current performance levels, establishes long-term targets, and identifies knowledge gaps requiring further development. By defining a common direction and baseline, the strategy supports coordinated action while allowing flexibility across project types.
