This work is part of a multidisciplinary research collaboration that aims to strengthen and influence the public and professional debate on regenerative transitions in the construction sector. Through fact-based mappings, analysis, and future scenarios, the project explores pathways and processes that can lead to truly regenerative building practices beyond conventional sustainability frameworks, and seeks to define what this means.

In this publication, I contributed to the conceptual development of analytical frameworks and narrative structures that examine regenerative approaches to built environments. My work focused on linking life cycle thinking, material systems, and environmental modelling with broader regenerative design concepts. I helped interpret and articulate how environmental indicators and design processes can be integrated into new paradigms of construction practice.
A great focus was put on the role of ecology and land use typologies, and how they play a role in not only the design, but the greater value chain of construction projects, and how we use buildings.
